Doaris is a prisoner of the Tower of Azula, who will be freed by Bane, who was controlled by the king of the dark elves, when he destroyed the Tower of Azula and freed the demon who had been sealed there.
Once Link has defeated the demon, seeing his fearsome power, he decides to escape and head south, where his wife and children resided along with his now nearly extinct race.
Once there he will be attacked by the necromancer who has also escaped from the tower and risks his life, but will be saved by links who, noticing the sounds, rush to his aid.
Once saved he becomes a powerful link servant and will help him on many occasions.
